2007
-USAC Western States Pavement Sprint Cars: 2 wins at Roseville and
Altamont Raceway Park , 1 fast time, CASA/USAC Best in the West
Champion, and USAC Western States Sprint Car Rookie of the Year and
Champion.
-SCRA Dirt Sprint Cars: 2 wins at Hanford Speedway, 2 fast times,
and broke the track record at Hanford .
-BCRA Midgets: 1 win at Hanford Speedway.
-SCCA Formula Continentals: 1 win and 1 fast time at Laguna Seca
Raceway in first road race.
-Raced winged 410 sprint cars at Silver Dollar Speedway and finished
top three once out of three races.
-Tested in a Late Model with Bill McAnally Racing at Roseville
Speedway .
2006
-USAC Western States Pavement Midgets: 2 Wins at Altamont and Shasta
Speedway, 1 fast time and Track Record at Shasta Speedway, finished
in the top five 6 out of 8 races, qualified in the top five 6 out of
8 times also, and won the USAC Western States Pavement Midget Earl’s
Fast Qualifiers Championship.
-Tested in a Late Model with Bill McAnally Racing and was the
fastest of the four drivers at the test ,the first time in a stock
car.
-Got the opportunity to practice in a dirt 360 winged sprint car and
also a 410 wingless dirt sprint car.
2005
Ryan’s first full season running a midget
-USAC Western States Midgets and BCRA Midgets: This season Ryan had
3 wins, two USAC wins on dirt at Bakersfield and Ventura California
and one BCRA pavement win at Lakeport California . During the season
he had 9 top three finishes made up of the 3 wins, 4 seconds with 2
on pavement and 2 thirds. In addition Ryan broke the track record at
Champion Speedway in Carson City , NV and set fast time in Santa
Maria , CA missing the track record by three thousandths of a
second. Ryan had a non racing highlight when in the September 7th
addition of National Speed Sport News he was featured in the Rising
Stars section.
Ryan had a great drive that did not show in the results, at
Irwindale, on Turkey Night. During practice laps Ryan was running
4th quick with the national pace. Then during time-ins Ryan and his
crew missed the set up resulting in Ryan starting the main in 22nd
place. He raced his way to 7th place by lap 65 and settled in behind
Teddy Beach in order to save his tires for the last 20 laps when his
motor blew, in the process he had the 3rd fast time of the night.
Ryan had a faster race time than J. J. Yeley, Aaron Fike, Jerome
Rodela and David Steele along with all the USAC national midget
drivers present. (Motor failure was the result of a part failure)
2004
-USAC Western States Midgets: This season was used as a learning
year making the transition from Focus to full midget. Running on a
limited budget and one motor Ryan had two top five finishes at
Ventura , CA on dirt and Las Vegas , NV on pavement.
2003 Ryan moves from Outlaw Go Karts to USAC Ford Focus
-USAC Ford Focus: Ryan placed 2nd in the Southern California series
and 3rd in the Northern California series. Ryan won 3 A Mains, two
on dirt at Silver Dollar Speedway and Petaluma Speedway and one on
pavement at Irwindale Speedway. During the season Ryan finished in
the top five 14 times and in the top ten 15 times out of 18 races,
earning Rookie of the Year and Hard Charger awards.
2002-2003
-Red Bluff Outlaws: Placed 5th in the Open division and earned
Rookie of the Year honors. Ryan set 2 fast times and broke the Red
Bluff track record.
-QRC All-Star Tour: Finished 2nd winning 2 A-mains at Cycleland and
Yuba City Fair Grounds, and also breaking the track record at Sand
Hollow Raceway Park in Idaho .
2002
-Cycleland Speedway: Moved up to Open 500 class and won the Open
Champion and Rookie of the year setting 7 fast times, 1 trophy dash
win, 2 A-main event wins, along with setting the fastest time at the
QRC Cup race for the 3rd year in a row.
2001-2002
-Red Bluff Outlaws: Won the Open Intermediate Champion with 3 trophy
dash wins and 3 A-main wins.
-QRC All-Star Tour: Placed 6th in the Open 500 division
2001
-Cycleland Speedway: Ran Open Intermediate winning the Championship
and Rookie of the year honors. Ryan set 8 fast times, won 11 trophy
dashes, and won 12 A-mains on his wasy to the Open Intermediate
Championship. At the QRC Cup race Ryan set fast time for the second
year in a row, along with winning the Open Intermediate QRC Cup
again.
-Silver Dollar Speedway : Won the Open Champion winning 2 A-mains
2000-2001
-Red Bluff Outlaws: Raced Open Intermediate were he finished 3rd and
won 2 A-mains
2000
-Cycleland Speedway: Raced 125cc kart again and finished 2nd winning
8 trophy dashes and 6 A-mains. During this season Ryan also ran the
last 8 races in a Open Intermediate kart and won 6 out of the 8
A-mains including the 6-foot tall QRC Cup Trophy. Ryan set fast time
of the night at the 6th Annual Golden State Championship.
1999-2000
-Red Bluff Outlaws: Raced 125cc class and finished 5th place winning
2 trophy dashes and 1 A-main
1999
-Cycleland Speedway: Moved into the 125cc class and finished 6th
place winning 3 trophy dashes.
1998-1999
-Red Bluff Outlaws: Raced box stocks again and finished 5th place.
1998
-Cycleland Speedway: Raced box stocks and finished 5th after missing
the first 3 races. Ryan won 3 trophy dashes and 6 A-mains including
his first race ever at Cycleland
1997-1998
Started racing go karts at the Red Bluff Outlaws at the age of 11.
-First season at Red Bluff indoor series finished 11th |
